It’s Follow Friday (on Twitter) again. This time I won’t write you a list of people I recommend to follow. I have something else on my mind which has been bothering me for quite some time now. People who are playing follow/unfollow game. At the end they are angry at you because you’re not following them back. I mean… come on. Are you in 5th grade or something?

I follow a lot of my followers back, but I don’t follow them all. Although someone apparently put me on a list with people who follow all back and now I’m on some test lists like ”follow backs i am testing”, “followback test pending”, “watch list”, etc. Stupid, I know. But… that’s another story.

Why I’m not following all back? I won’t follow you back if you’re:

following me just to promote your own product

writing, most of the time, in a language I don’t understand (English is also not my mother language)

only writing about personal things like I just ate my breakfast, I was so drunk last night,…

expecting me to follow back just because you started following me – little tip: write interesting tweets, in language I understand… and I will follow you back

following 1.000 users, have 50 followers and 0 updates

going to unfollow me the next minute I start following you – what’s the point?! (oh, I see… look at no. 1)

I will follow you if:

I know you - from the real or virtual World

you tweet interesting things

I see that you share & care – you use RT button and reply to people

you have an interesting website / blog

So… if you are a blogger, designer, cosmetics consultant… music & concerts, photography, make-up, movies, social networks, traveling, fitness lover… feel free to follow me @dasaples.

Last few days has been particularly hard, stressful for me. Specially today was such a nerve-racking day. And then I found this inspiring, amazing video in my mail-box… Maybe you already saw it. It’s a video “Planet Earth” from The Secret Team.

On their YouTube channel they wrote: “As you experience this clip you will emit positive forces of energy across Planet Earth that will reach every single living thing on it. You will lift yourself, and as you lift yourself, you lift the entire world.”

They were right. It filled me up with such an energy and it also made me realize how beautiful Earth is. Sometimes we are just to busy to see it. You just have to relax, open up, see, hear and feel it…

Hilary Hinton “Zig” Ziglar is a popular American motivational speaker and self help author. He wrote books: Top Performance: How to Develop Excellence in Yourself and Others; See You at the Top; Selling 101: What Every Successful Sales Professional Needs to Know and his latest Better Than Good: Creating a Life You Can’t Wait to Live and Embrace The Struggle.

Since I like his books, his wisdom and quotes in general, I decided to share my favorites (from him) with you:

A goal properly set is halfway reached.

Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street.

If you don’t see yourself as a winner, then you cannot perform as a winner.

If you learn from defeat, you haven’t really lost.

Money isn’t the most important thing in life, but it’s reasonably close to oxygen on the “gotta have it” scale.

People don’t buy for logical reasons. They buy for emotional reasons.

The foundation stones for a balanced success are honesty, character, integrity, faith, love and loyalty.

The way you see people is the way you treat them.

You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.

You can not climb the ladder of success dressed in the costume of failure.

You can not tailor-make the situations in life but you can tailor-make the attitudes to fit those situations.

Success and happiness are not matters of chance but choice.

The greatest good we can do for others is not just to share our riches with them, but to reveal theirs.

Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph. Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.

You can follow his son on Twitter: @TomZiglar.

Tonight was 82th Academy Awards. I must be honest I didn’t watch it, because it was too late and because of the time difference between LA and Slovenia, I would have to stayed up till 3 am in the morning. Regarding that my boss wouldn’t have enough understanding that I would show up at work like coming from the wildest party.

There are a lot of awards for a lot of categories, but the most important and prestigious award is the one for the best movie of the year. This year all eyes were focused on Avatar, but The Hurt Locker snatched the award right under Cameron’s nose. I must say to me it was pretty funny, because Kathryn Bigelow is also James Cameron’s ex and the first female who won Oscar in best director category.

I watched both movies and I must say they couldn’t be more different, but I have to admit I liked them both. The things they have in common is they both have original script and they both talk about war.

Avatar is a Sci-fi movie set on a planet called Pandora. The story is basically about greed of mankind and their mindless exploitation of Pandora’s natural resources, with no regard of the native species, specially seemingly helpless Na’vi. This movie has it all. It’s the biggest Hollywood blockbuster of all times, with loads of cool CGI special effects, budget around $500 million, new filming technique in 3D. Because I’m a big Sci-Fi fan and tech freak this movie was my favorite.

The Hurt Locker is a more realistic drama set on the streets of Baghdad, where the soldiers try to clear streets of IEDs (Improvisational Explosive Device). This movie is a complete opposite of Avatar. The budget was only around $11 million, it is fairly unknown movie, no CGI, no 3D. But it has a better script than Avatar.

So comparing these two movies is like comparing the David against Goliath and we all know how did that battle finish.

On Monday mornings we are usually grumpy and not in the mood for anything. But on that particular Monday morning (March 23rd, 2009), for some people at the Central Station of Antwerp (Belgium), it was a completely different story.

More than 200 dancers were performing their version of “Do Re Mi” (a show tune from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “The Sound of Music“). At the beginning just a man and a young girl started to dance like they were drawn in by the song. Then more and more people were joining them.

It looks like it was a spontaneous thing, but it wasn’t. It was a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they were looking for someone to play the leading role (Maria von Trapp) in the musical of “The Sound of Music”.

Believe it or not, they had only 2 rehearsals before that public appearance.

Only 4 months later, the students of Tawa College in Wellington, New Zealand staged another Sound of Music Train Station performance. Here is their version:

It’s really a great way to start your day, isn’t it?

10 Albums that in some way, big or small had some kind of impact on my life. In no particular order.

Alanis Morrisette, Jagged Little Pill

You may argue that Jagged Little Pill is the commercialized face of angry, female grunge. You may also argue that it is Alanis’s canny attempt at being provocative for provocations sake by riling up women every where with her man beating, cynical take on life. Whatever your thoughts, you can’t argue that this is not a great album. I remember hearing “Hand In My Pocket” very early on before the album was released and purchasing the album before it was catapulted into platinum heaven. I loved it immediately. The lyrics were interesting and surreal in parts. It made me think and dissect. As someone who is fascinated by words and language in general this album was like crack to me. Very moreish. Anyone who conjures up the idea of “inter-lec-tural intercourse” has my vote. Plus. there is no greater album to stick in the CD player when you have just been dumped, “Well I’m here, to remind you, of the mess you left when you went away, its not fair to deny me, of the cross I bear that you gave to me, you, you, you outta know!” A great big karate kick in the balls to asshole men everywhere and an anthem for bitter females the world over.

Must listen to track: All I Really Want

Fiona Apple, Tidal

When I think back on my past, this album always stands out in my mind as one that was the soundtrack for huge change in my life. I was 18 and embarking on a new life in a foreign land, fumbling my way around. I bought this album just after emigrating to Australia. I had never heard of Fiona Apple before I arrived there. There was something about her voice that drew me in immediately. It was kind of dark, moody, smokey and melancholy and she had an arresting turn of phrase that emphasised a maturity beyond her years; she was 18 when she released this album. She intertwines surreal images with absolute reality brilliantly. The whole album smacks of intelligence. When you play Track 1, Sleep to Dream, the first line you hear is “I tell you how I feel but you don’t care, I say tell me the truth but your don’t dare. You say love is a hell you cannot bear and I say give me mine back and then go there, for all I care”. Awesome, touching, brilliant and beautiful.

Must listen track: Shadowboxer

Nirvana, Nevermind

An obvious choice some might say but for many people my age, this album will always be on the Top 10 list. Music snobs see Nevermind as when Nirvana sold out and were embraced by the mainstream thanks to the head banging, anthem of a generation “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. I think they managed to capture the zeitgeist at the time. A generation of teenagers, disillusioned and disconnected from 80’s soft rock were looking for an album and a band that reflected themselves and expressed all their teenage angst. I remember being a moody teenager, sitting in my bedroom in the dark with one lone candle, hating my parents and life in general with this album on loop. Nirvana used to piss off my parents. That made me happy at the time. Nirvana’s previous albums were a bit too raw for my tastes, Nevermind hit that raw/commercial balance just right for me and came about as I was hitting my teens. This album never dates and still sounds great! I love it. And to the critics I say, Oh Well, Whatever, Nevermind.

Must listen track: Smells Like Teen Spirit

The Streets, Original Pirate Material

To me this album signified the single biggest shift in UK music for years. The music market at that time was saturated with American rappers talking about “bitches, ho’s and drive bys” which is fine, if you live in urban America and can relate. This type of music was popular in the UK but in a disconnected way. That was until The Streets released, Original Pirate Material and our fair isle took a well needed sigh of relief at finally having a band that spoke to us in a language that we could understand. Mike Skinner is a genius. He absolutely perfectly captures what it is like to live in the UK in this day and age. His observational skills are incredible, picking up on tiny parts of UK culture that have never been sung about but are so much part of our tapestry. He doesn’t try to sound like anyone else, content in doing his thing, in his own accent and not apologising for it. The stories he weaves through the tracks are firmly planted in everyday reality. In “Don’t Mug Yourself” he is having a conversation with his mate in a greasy spoon cafe the morning after meeting a girl at a club. “Same Old Thing” is about spending hours sitting in the pub talking about football, birds, winning the lottery and doing the same old thing everyday. “Geezers Need Excitement” explores the male need to fight and cause trouble in order to inject some interest into their lives “So you tell your mates your could have him anyway, to look geez, but he’s a shady fuck, Beamer 3 series, Lock Stock and two fat fucks backing him up” The most thought thought-provoking (and the funniest) is “Irony Of It All”. A conversation between two people, an angry, highly strung working class male who likes to drink a lot and fight and a placid, highly educated, well spoken university student who does nothing except smoke weed all day. It explores the idea of which one is more of a threat to society. He does it brilliantly. The Streets will never be big outside of the UK purely due to the amount of colloquialisms and street language used throughout every track. I rate this album as one of the Best British Albums of all time.

Stand out track: Too Much Brandy

The Avalanches, El Producto (EP)

Going to an Avalanches gig is like walking into a chaotic circus. I have no idea how many are in the band but I counted at least 9 on stage when I saw them live a few years ago. Their energy is amazing and sucks you in immediately. I left there feeling like I had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, my former home you can’t really find a pigeon hole to put this band in. Highly experimental electronica with an industrial edge and considering the amount of samples they use in their tracks they always sound completely original. It was unlike anything I had ever heard. They have had other full albums but its their first EP, El Producto, that makes it on to my list. It only has 7 songs but its pure genius. The track “Rock City” is an in your face, crazy mash of industrial sounding lyrics with a pounding chorus and its only until the final few seconds of the song when you hear a digeridoo kick in that you realise that these boys are brilliant at what they do! If you only ever listen to one Australian band, it should be The Avalanches.

Must listen to track: Rolling High

Kate Bush, Hounds Of Love

This album is very special to me. It was my dad’s favourite. One of the strongest memories I have of my youth was dancing around with him in the sitting room trying to imitate The Wuthering Heights dance. Kate Bush is favourite in my family. In fact, when I was born the only names up for discussion were the names of female singers that my dad had a crush on which included Kate Bush and Debbie Harry. Thank God he wasn’t a Cher fan. I still listen to this album now and with every listen its like you hear something different in her voice. She has one of the most stunning voices that goes from soft and childlike to strong and intimidating within one line without the contrast being obtrusive. I remember hearing about people thinking she was really weird when Wuthering Heights was released in 1978 mainly due to the video where she dances around in a leotard like a possessed witch and the high pitched singing. I think she was way ahead of her time. The Lady Gaga of her era. It took 18 years for her nearest imitator, Tori Amos to have a hit. The album itself is hard to sum up. Atmospheric and full, to me it almost invokes images of Narnia or some kind of fantasy land. I must put the crack pipe down occasionally. My mum says “Its haunting”. I think that is a good description for it. Its not to everyones taste, I find its a bit like Marmite. People who love Kate Bush think this album is a masterpiece. Others tend to think she sounds like a strangled cat gasping for air. Not me, I could listen to this all day. Many people have tried, unsuccessfully in my opinion to cover songs from this album. The only one I have heard that I like is Placebo’s version of “Running Up That Hill”. “Hounds Of Love” is a stand out track and plays into the fantasy land imagery “Well here I go, its coming for me through the trees. Oh help me someone, help me please. I take my shoes off and throw them in the lake and I’ll be, two steps on the water”. Brilliantly dramatic from start to finish.

Must listen track: Hounds Of Love

Public Enemy, It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back

I am a massive fan of old skool rap and this monumental album re-wrote hip hop history. Its abrasive, raw, ferocious and slightly frightening. Kind of feels like you’ve had your head bitten off by a lion by Track 10. Lyrically Chuck D excelled on this album with a torrent of provocative lyrics. I had never really listened to much Public Enemy until an ex-boyfriend of mine who was a hard core hip hop aficionado got out his dusty vinyl copy. A couple of years later we went to see them play live at The Forum in Melbourne. It was the most violently brilliant concert I’ve ever seen. Chuck D and Flava Flav worked it and the mosh pit erupted. I came out of there with a torn shirt and drenched in water. At one point Flav launched himself into the crowd with such eagerness that I think at least ten people got seriously wounded by that enormous clock round his neck. Like Run-DMC before them Public Enemy broke new ground with this album. Don’t Believe The Hype? In this case, do.

I love these nutters so much I even own “Wu Wear”. This was the debut album of the eight piece hip hop outfit. That’s right, there are 8 of them and at least 6 of them have had solo careers. The names of the original Wu Tang line up would be recognisable to most even if you had never heard of The Clan. RZA, Ghostface Killah, Ol Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwoon….all hip hops legends in their own right! They were one of the first bands to play into this idea of creating an imaginary Wu Tang world where they are the characters and those characters shift and change and tell a story and you as the listener are left to your own devices to try and figure out what its all about. Hedonistic, cool, funky, sometimes scary, sometimes comical, innovative with brilliant production. I always go back to this album when I feel like escaping from my actual world for a while. Wu Tang Killer Bees Forever! Classic.

Lady Gaga, Fame Monster

Not so much of a Lady but more like the Queen of the music industry this year. Gaga is unstoppable. I remember about 18 months ago hearing all this hype about this new artist from New York and how she was gonna take over the world. I thought, here we go again. I heard Just Dance for the first time and was not overly impressed. I liked it, but didn’t really get the Gaga hype. She looked normal in the video and it was a nice song. Gradually it grew on me until I couldn’t get the damn thing out of my head. Then “Poker Face” was released, followed by “Paparazzi”, then “Love Game”, “Bad Romance” and two duets with queen of the booty shakers, Beyonce, “Video Phone” and “Telephone”….obsessed with phones much. Every song was better than the last. The outfits got wilder. Shops starting stocking up on head bows, shoulder pads and wince inducing leotards in a kind of weird throw back to the 80’s with a modern twist. People would paint lightening bolts on their faces, wear fingerless gloves and wave disco-sticks; Gaga had officially taken over the world. A fact not lost on Gaga who has created her own world in The Haus Of Gaga. A stylised machine that plods along behind her fabulous 5 inch platforms. My co-worker likes her, but doesn’t get her. Thinks she’s a weirdo because of the clothes. What she fails to understand is, that is the point. Gaga is as much about the art form as the music. Its all intertwined and you couldn’t have one without the other. The Fame Monster is a brilliant album. Its pop/dance at its best. Thinking back to PG times (Pre-Gaga) the musically landscape seemed pretty dull. A revolving wheel of acts all sounding the same and looking the same. She’s a breath of fresh air. The music world needs Lady Gaga. Long may she reign….

New Kids On The Block, The Block

I’ve loved NKOTB since I was a small child and was ready to slash my teenager wrists with a blunt razor when they parted ways in 1994. My tears could have kept a small third world nation in fresh water for a decade. Down came the posters, away went the dolls. I had resigned myself to never seeing or hearing anything from them ever again. Imagine my shock when I found out they were back together. Hoorah! It was a Dear Diary moment. All those little girls from back in the day were now fully grown women ready to jump their hausfrau asses back on to the NK train headed for hysterical-ville. They released their first album for 15 years, “The Block” to the sound of panty elastic snapping. I have to say, I was sceptical at first but with fond memories in my heart and an ever burning obsession with Jordan Knight (girly squeal!) I was more than prepared to give this album a listen, if for nostalgic reasons only. One listen shattered my pre-conceived idea that it was going to be a mediocre attempt at re-capturing their former glory…..it was brilliant! With a laundry list of guest singers such as Lady Gaga, Nicole Sherz….Sherzi…..that Pussycat doll chick, Neyo, feat Timberland (feat is now part of his name) and, wait for it….New Edition mother fucker!! OH SNAP!! I think bringing in these artists to collaborate was very very smart. The album kicks off with the effortlessly cool, “Click Click Click”, a smooth, vibey tune that just makes you wanna hump the nearest breathing object. We are then treated to “Single” where the New Kids tell us ladies that “they will be our boyfriends”. Really? You gonna treat me bad, steal all my money and leave the toilet seat up? COOL! “Summertime”, kind of bouncy and happy and an obvious choice for lead single. “2 In The Morning” is apparently about Donnie Wahlberg’s personal issues. I don’t like to delve too much into other peoples business but it seems that episodes of Greys Anatomy caused a lot of tension in the household. Maybe Tivo next time Donnie, huh? “Dirty Dancing” is a great song. Produced by Red One it just makes you wanna dance. The lyrics conform to the New Kids running theme through many songs; they are at the club, they see a chick, wow she’s hot, I’d like to get up on that, oh but I can’t because I have a honey back home (probably in her PJ’s watching Greys Anatomy), well I’m gonna go dance with her anyway, oh my god she’s dancing all up on me, I can’t control myself, shorty moves so good uh huh….oh my god I’m erect and feeling guilty! I need to shower. I love it!! The album ends with the awesome “One Song”. If I was gonna play any song from the album to convert a hater, it would be this one. Its lively, great melody and just makes you feel good! The boys may be 15 years older but they still got the moves, Donnies still got the swagger and Jordan and Joe can still hit those nut-tightening high notesThis album truly did change my life. I reconnected with old friends through the New Kids and made lots of new ones. This album is great for old fans and for new ones proving that the New Kids On The Block can still kick it better than any other boy band around right now. Backstreet Boys need to watch and learn.

Well, this is my top 15 movies of all time, it’s not some kind of a list made by Time Magazine or something similar to that.

I have to admit that I’m pretty keen on movies. Specially I like drama, romantic comedies and movies based on a true story. From time to time I like watching some action movie (but if there is not too much blood in it). But you certainly won’t see me watching a horror movie.

What are actors / actresses concerned… I used to be a huge Tom Cruise fan. I think I saw at least 80% of his movies. And I still LOVE most of them. Specially Top Gun, Cocktail, Rain Man, A Few Good Men, The Firm, Jerry Maguire. I think I lost my interest in him when I first saw Vanilla Sky and later War of the Worlds.

I also love Tom Hanks, Pierce Brosnan (still think he was the best Bond, well at least the cutest one), Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Dustin Hoffman (he was AMAZING in Rain Man), Robert De Niro… and my latest “obsession” -- Gerard Butler (oh, he was HOT in The Ugly Truth).

OK, enough talking. Here is finally my list, my top 15 movies of all time:

It has to be said that I have always had a pretty good relationship with food. My parents were reasonably strict with me when I was younger when it came to what went into my chubby little toddler cheeks. Junk food was kept to a minimum and fizzy drinks were not allowed. I never had a sweet tooth anyway so even at kiddies parties I would turn my little button nose up to jelly and ice-cream preferring to munch on the much classier cucumber sandwich. Yes folks, I was the epitome of English upper middle class even at 4 years old. I’m making my parents sound like food Nazi’s but I guess they were just very conscious of making sure that I grew up with a healthy diet. I have never been overweight and so do not know what it is like to grow up in a society that makes judgements on you on a daily basis. However, my father was a larger person and so I was exposed to the discrimination and the comments that people make. If he dared eat a cheeseburger in public you could see people looking and thinking “Why are you eating that?”. People can be very cruel and so I understand the pressure put on people, particularly young women to conform to the “ideal” body type.

As women we are bombarded with images in magazines of super skinny size zero models dressed in the trendiest clothes and hanging out with the coolest people. The unwritten message being “If you were as thin as this, your life could be just as fabulous!”. We are exposed to it on our TV screens and in our movie theatres, it’s on informercials; buy this pill, you’ll lose 100 pounds in 3 weeks! Buy this ab-tronic-mega-tronic and YOU will have rock hard abs in 7 days! Buy this vitamin laden, tastes like shit super duper meal replacement shake and YOU will look like a supermodel…..all that for only 3 easy payments of $19.95! Its all bullshit. These companies play on women’s insecurities and attempt to sell an impossible dream. At the end of the day, losing weight is as simple as adding 2 and 2. Expend more calories than you consume, its a simple equation. A healthy diet combined with regular exercise equals slow but steady weight loss is the ONLY sure fire way of losing weight and having some chance at keeping it off for life.

When I talk to women about weight issues, its always the same thing. Women want a quick fix. They want to lose weight for an event or a holiday or a party so they will diet like crazy a few weeks before doing all manner of insane diets. As soon as the vacation is over they go back to their daily diet of Chinese takeaway and beer.

The Cabbage Soup Diet, where you eat nothing but cabbage soup and drink water and green tea, mmmm, how enjoyable! Of course you will lose weight, there is nothing in cabbage soup.!! Apart from erm….cabbage. Your farts will stink and no one wants to be friends with a stinky pants. The Shake Diet ala Slim Fast. The idea of replacing two meals per day with some acrid, powdery tasting shake with god knows what in it horrifies me. The Atkins Diet; remove carbs from your diet all together cause carbs are bad bad bad says Mr Atkins, who incidentally died of cardiomiopathy, whilst out jogging. He was 258 pounds when he died. In death, he became the poster child of why you should reach for the potatoes and the bread! Yes Alanis, isn’t it ironic? Then we have our “celebrity” diets. Diets propagated by the already thin and beautiful who usually have the luxury of having someone make their food for them. The Macrobiotic Diet, favoured by the likes of the incredibly pinched and bird like Gwyneth Paltrow and the Ashtanga Yoga, Kabbalah addicted Madonna. The word Macrobiotic comes from the Greek words “Macro” meaning large or long and “Bios” meaning life. Long Life. Hmmm. This diet consists of grains as the main staple supplemented by beans and nuts. Wow. That sounds so yummy! It now makes more sense as to why Gwyneth or Mrs Martin as I like to call her looks so much like a bird, their diets are practically the same. Then there is The Raw Food Diet. I was speaking with a close friend last night and I found out that she was detoxing and trying to follow the raw food diet. We have a big holiday coming up and so she is trying to lose weight for it. I can kind of understand the detoxing part, .being super healthy and drinking bowel cleansing juices for a week to crap out all of the nasties lurking in your colon. Personally, I would rather go spend 2 hours with a slightly masculine looking woman named Helga with a tube shoved up my ass having a colonic. At least then I could read a magazine whilst being cleansed from the inside out. The raw food diet is such a myth. “Ooo, cooking food kills all of the good stuff in it! Its much better to eat it raw so all the good enzymes in it can aid your digestion and increase your metabolic rate”. Oh really? Your stomach naturally produces the same enzymes that you are trying to eliminate by eating your food raw. You lose weight on this diet because you are eating vegetables and salad! Who is gonna eat a raw steak? Or a frozen pizza? Or a burger that is still mooing??

All of these diets basically do the same thing. They force you to eat healthy food but put a fancy label on it so people will buy in to it. Its trendy to say “Yes dahhhhling, I’m on the raw food diet. I only eat food that is below 117 degrees and on Wednesdays I only eat things that are white” as opposed to “I‘m on a healthy eating plan”. People need some kind of label that shows that their diet is special and that they are super dedicated. They are really trying. Look at all the effort they are going to. Look at how much they are denying themselves. Look how disciplined they are. It all comes back to the simple equation no matter how much you try and dress it up.

Now some of you that know me may be thinking, What is this pompus cow talking about? She’s always on some weird diet. She doesn’t eat carbs either! She is the queen of rice cakes! Yes. I eat rice cakes. On top of those rice cakes I have lovely salmon and low fat cream cheese and capers and a huge salad. I don’t eat carbs not because I am trying to follow The Atkins Diet but because I am intolerant to them. I eat healthy but I don’t starve. I listen to what my body needs and some days it just needs a bar of Dairy Milk chocolate. And you know what? Thats ok. My body is not perfect at all. I have cellulite, I get the odd pimple on my butt, sometimes a hair sprouts wildly out of my left nipple for no apparent reason and I have stretch marks despite never being pregnant. Its all part of being a woman! Learn to listen to your body, be good to it and it will be good to you. Its the most amazing machine you will ever own.

Now if your main motivation for losing weight is to impress a guy, remember this. Guys like women to look like women. They like boobs and asses and bits that wobble around. They don’t notice your cellulite and even if they do, once you are at the stage where you are in some state of undress, ooo la la, your orange peel thighs are the last thing on their mind. Never have I know a man to recoil in horror and run out the bedroom screaming like a girl with a scuffed knee when confronted with “a bit of a belly” or “an ass with a slightly dimpled look to it”.

So ladies, get off the silly diets. Embrace your shape and if you are unhappy with your shape make lifestyle changes that will benefit not only your looks but also your life. Don’t starve yourselves thin. Its a lifestyle choice. Now…..who wants an Oreo?

I’m a man and I am not embarrassed to admit that I like to look at the women wearing high heel shoes, like almost any other guy out there. I know the shoes are uncomfortable to wear, but it’s nice to see a pair of long legs in 10 or 12 cm stilettos, and that I think is one of the reasons that women go trough all that hell of wearing them.
But some of the designers and shoe makers, go extremely far with the design as you will see in the pictures. I can’t imagine how funny would be to see some poor soul wearing any of them.

Have you ever wondered what celebrity do you look like? Here are some good websites where you can find your celebrity “twin”, look-a-like, face double (however you call them):

My Heritage is one of the world’s first services to apply advanced face recognition technology to personal photos and family history.

Celebrity Match Up (by Picitup) is a high quality celebrity look alike generator which matches a face image to 100,000 celebrites photos using face recognition technology.

Face Double is another application which helps you find your celebrity look a like. On their website you can also pick a celebrity and find a man or a woman who looks like a chosen star. Here is an example: Gerard Butler’s FaceDoubles.

Last but not least is an application that matches people based on appearance, then lets them find via Facebook – Facial Profile. It’s not a celebrity look a like generator.

So… what celebrity do you look like? (use one of this applications and write your answer in a comment below)

I used different photos and obviously I look like Christina Aguilera, Portia de Rossi, Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Kelly Preston, Jennie Garth,… Not bad, not bad.
